Upon having
played the Rayman Legends game demo at the Wii U experience in LA, I was
impressed with the fluidity of the gameplay. The demo level itself was fast
pace enough to keep a player on their toes. Though at the same time, it was
well tested in the responsiveness and timing departments, and thus not made too
fast either. The speed of the forward-scrolling camera was definitely what
stood out to me the most; slightly faster than the typical modern platformer
and challenging enough to miss and fall a couple times, but certainly not
unbeatable. I suppose I took great note of this aspect because of the simple
observation that 'challenge' seems to come in short supply these days.

The Wonderful 101 Impressions - Wii U Experience, LA
Out of all the games I played at the Wii U Experience,
Platinum Games ‘The Wonderful 101’ was the most intriguing to me and was my
first destination at the event. At the kiosk I was handed the controller and
greeted with an intimidating control scheme screen. I can’t stand these kinds
of things but it is understandable in a demo. The demo throws you right into the game
and gets the battle rolling.

Wii U Experience, Los Angeles - Photo Gallery
This past Sunday, The Wii U Experience Tour came to Los Angeles. Needless to say, it was a good hands-on time with Nintendo's new console. Here we've provided some images of most of the demos that were presented (some of which were at E3 and some new ones), along with various aspects of the event itself. If you weren't able to make it out, check out this gallery for taste of what it was like.
