Wii U Summer Tour (Anaheim, CA) - Photo Gallery

I was headed to Disneyland with my girlfriend the other day, on May 27th, and we took a stroll through Downtown Disney beforehand and noticed a familiar logo. The Wii U was everywhere and they had a cluster of booths set up in front of the AMC theater.

By chance we seemed to run into some new promotion Nintendo is running called the 'Wii U Summer Tour'. My guess is this is a way to get the word out on the general public who may not understand what exactly the Wii U is. They weren't giving out anything just letting people demo some currently released titles.  I took some pictures for you all so you can get a peek at the set up they had. It sounds like these guys will be touring the contiguous United States this Summer though so keep an eye for them in your area! Also be sure to check out that 'Year of Luigi' image, it is not something I have seen before.

    Hello, what is that red "Mario Bros" one on the left side of the Zelda: Wind Waker one? I see a Luigi one (green), but what is the red one?

      It can't be, as this is supposed to be a Summer Showcase, and NSMBU came out last year.

      It was. I just missed getting a picture of it. Not all the games they were playing were new. look at the Nintendo Land poster for example.

    Looks like that big marketing campaign we heard about is FINALLY about to kick off. Good thing they are starting before E3 too. If they waited until Microsoft really joined the marketing fray...oh boy.

      Microcrap has been Nintendo's best marketing campaign ever since that horrid reveal and VP Phil Harrison's stunning admissions. They've been in damage-control mode ever since. Nintendo is bringing E3 to the gamer in a way never-before done. All Sony has to say is "Hey, y'know all those things Phil Harrison said over at Microsoft's reveal? Yeah, we ain't doin' any of that. Oh, and games, too." Boom lowered. Sony and Nintendo win.

      And this coming from an Xbox fan...

      Yeah MS messed up big time, they have a chance to turn it around at E3, but Nintendo and Sony should just run with it for now.

    Im so pumped for this! E3 cant come any quicker. Im a hardcore Nintendo fan, however I do like Sony too since it and Nintendo are both Japanese Game Companies!

    A lot of websites are using your TWW photo and not citing the original source, which is you.

    I am the head news and content writer at a Zelda website and was able to find you, the original source, but some sites are running wild with it. I can tell it's the same photo because of the mark you have on it. It's actually upsetting me quite a bit.
